Location: Ashford and Manchester

Summary

Lupprians are a specialist logistics and installations company, who provide services to large blue chip organisation like GE, Siemens, EMC, Toshiba and Philips. The role will be to learn how to cable and install Medical and IT Systems, including MR and CT scanners, HP printers and Rack builds being trained on the job by experienced Senior staff. You will also be expected, when not cabling and installing to assist with delivering, offloading and positioning of Customer equipment as required within the UK and occasionally Europe.

Main Activities 

• Learning how to position, install and cable various customer systems, with on the job training from a Senior staff

• General driving / delivery duties as required within the UK and Europe

• Loading and Unloading of vehicles

• Delivery, offloading and positioning as required for various customer jobs

• Manual handling, carrying and lifting as required of customer equipment

• Completing delivery paperwork, PDAs, timesheets and other paperwork as required for each job

• Other tasks as required.

Key Skills and Experience

• An aptitude and willingness to learn is essential

• Previous experience of mechanical or electrical work or knowledge is essential, for example: PC repairs, printer repairs or installs, mechanic, passed 17^th Edition, City and Guilds or NVQ in relevant subject

• Experienced driver with clean licence

• Physically fit as some of the work is physically demanding

• Must be very flexible with regards to hours and be prepared to stay away from home on a regular basis

• Ability to complete required PDAs, timesheets and paperwork as needed

• Experience in dealing directly with customers contacts and good communication skills

• Good computer skills

• Good team member with a flexible and Can-do attitude

Benefits

Salary: £16,000 to £18,000

After 2 years service you will be paid a further £15 per week loyalty bonus

Overtime: Weekday Time and 1/4, Saturday Time and a half, minimum og 5 hours, Sunday Time and ¾, minimum of 5 hours..

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 hour shift starting between 6:00am to 7pm plus overtime outside of these hours

Holiday: 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays

Pension: 3% of basic salary will be paid into a pension scheme after the 6 months
