| Job Title: Helicopter Technician/Engineer |

Introduction:
Our client is a leading service provider to the MOD and is currently working in partnership to deliver the Sea King Integrated Operational Support (SKIOS), (Search and Rescue) project across the UK. Subsequently our client is looking for 2 Helicopter Engineers/Technicians (cross trade) in Prestwick (HMS Gannet).
Successful Helicopter Technicians/Engineers will have previous been employed in a helicopter engineering environment and possibly from a previous Armed Forces background (Army, Navy of RAF) although civilian candidates with the right background/skills will also be considered.
The position would ideally suit a Class 2 or Junior Technician.
Civilians with NVQ level 3 and apprenticeship with relevant background will also be considered.
Our client would be particularly interested to hear from helicopter engineers/technicians who have previous worked on helicopters such as Lynx, Merlin, Apache and Sea King, but please note that this is not essential as all suitable candidates will initially be considered.
You will be working shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights, 4 standby. Whilst on standby you will be paid for any additional hours worked.
