Job Title:
Service Delivery Lead
|
| Description |
This role is being offered as a temporary role to cover a secondment. It involves undertaking activities to support employee and management Learning and Development. You will spend the majority of your time delivering ‘SLA’ training courses (e.g. Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance Management and Recruitment & Selection), evaluating training, resolving learning and development queries and issues and guiding and developing your teams professional capabilities. You will usually work in an environment where you have high levels of face to face interaction with your customers and frequent remote working with your service delivery colleagues.
You should be able to fulfil the following criteria:
• Taking ownership of 'Develop' processes to ensure requests and queries referred by People Services (Contact) teams are dealt with through to completion or escalated to other Service Delivery colleagues or Specialists (as outlined in current process maps and policy documentation)
• Ensuring corporate courses are delivered in line with agreed regularity
• Analysing Learning and Development requests referred by People Services (Contact) colleagues to establish appropriate solutions i.e. identify and action appropriate corporate events, or engage with specialist colleagues if new or bespoke solution required
• Delivering corporate and bespoke courses in response to SLA and customer demand
• Evaluating all Learning and Development solutions delivered, identifying trends and providing Specialist colleagues with information and recommendations to support continuous development and improvement of solutions
• Resolving customer 'Develop' queries/issues through to process completion, ensuring regular communication and updates to customers and colleagues (including TU representative as required)
• Full adherence to and support of current council policy and legislative requirements (e.g. Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety)
• Undertaking such other duties and/or times of work as may reasonably be required of you, commensurate with your grade or general level of responsibility within the organisation
