We are currently looking to recruit a number of Drivers to join our team at Gate Gourmet, based in Heathrow. You will work as a Driver across short haul & long haul operations on a shift basis which includes early / late shifts, weekends and bank holidays.  The role is responsible for the timely and efficient load and unload of food and equipment according to allocated work schedules. This entails collecting catering and delivering it to aircraft, controlling the stock on your vehicle and delivering waste catering and equipment back to the catering unit. It is essential that you safeguard and maintain good customer relations at all times, as well as ensuring the security of the catering operation and maintaining compliance with Department for Transport security regulations.

Successful candidates will possess a clean and current LGV class driving license and have recent LGV driving experience (preferably within the last 6 months). Drivers are required to hold a Tacho card. You will have a full understanding of EU drivers’ hours regulations and prior manual loading experience. We are looking for flexible team players, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to meet tight deadlines. A good level of English and numeracy is required.  Please note that this role requires a criminal records check and 5 years covered for referencing purposes.
