Introduction:
My client is a well established and leading Global Manufacturing Company, They manufacture a wide range of Products and supply a wide variety of Industry Sectors.
They are now looking for a 'Hands On' Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a team of Engineer's working on Production Maintenance / Manufacturing based Engineering Projects and Plant Maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
The position is based in a high volume Production Plant, You will be responsible to ensure that Production machinery / equipment is achieving maximum efficiency, You will be responsible for reactive breakdown repairs and adhere to the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, You will also be responsible for the Fault Diagnosis and Repair of a wide variety of Production Machinery including Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Extruders, Press machines, CNC Saws, Injection Moulding Machines, Mixing machines, Weighing machines, 3 phase 440V supplies, 230V single phase supplies, High volume production equipment, Electrical Machinery along with other associated plant.
You will be a Electrical / Electronics Engineer and be able to apply your previous engineering background and experience to achieve the very highest levels of plant maintenance. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, You will be self-motivated and innovative in approach. Capable of working within a proactive team and be committed to the highest standards of Health & Safety.
Applicant Requirements:
Required to respond to reactive machine breakdowns.
Assist in creating a safe and healthy working environment,
Ensure that machinery and equipment are maintained to achieve maximum efficiency and comply with all Health & Safety Requirements.
To adhere to a planned maintenance programme, covering equipment and services as laid down in the company procedures.
Liaise with Senior Engineers, General Manger, Production Managers and Production staff as necessary.
Electrical Installation and commissioning of Electrical Machinery and Services.
On-going updating and modification work on machinery control systems.
Proven knowledge of front line fault finding and diagnosis on Control systems and PLC's.
Electrical Testing, Instrumentation and Calibration.
Team Player
Strong Electrical / Electronics Engineering background.

37 Hours per week
£21,200k - £23,000k Basic Salary, Overtime available.
