Job Title: Junior Hardware / Firmware Engineer

Introduction:
Our Client is a world-class manufacturer of aircraft lighting systems used on both military and commercial aircraft, data-capture products and specialist electronic components. Lighting systems are based on LED technology with analogue and digital electronics to control electrical, optical and thermal performance.
Our Client now has a requirement for a Junior Hardware / Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities:
Working as part of the Engineering team your role will be primarily to work on hardware design, but with experience in low level coding and managing development projects

Candidate Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering with skills in the following areas:
- Digital & Analogue design,
- Microprocessors/ Microcontrollers,
- Programmable Logic,
- Embedded Firmware / Software,
- SMPS design, PCB design and design for EMC
- Experience of design for Military/Avionics applications to EMC/EMI specifications is desireable though not essential.
- The ability to work to strict deadlines the ideal candidate will be an innovative team player with excellent communication skills
