Introduction:
We have an immediate requirement for an Administrator Soft Services (Registry) to deliver effective and efficient Registry Services on the Corsham estate. In accordance with the SRD and extant authority regulations, whilst ensuring a high level of customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a service for the collection, retrieval, handling, storage, archiving and destruction of the Authority’s hard copy information/ media including Protectively Marked Material.
- Deliver effective and timely customer support in line with contractual obligations.
- Understand & ensure full compliance with relevant authority regulations at all times.
- Participate in the development of service delivery enhancement as and when required.
- Provide a range of effective and efficient office services including, but not limited too, photocopying, producing business cards and maintaining an effective document management system.
- When required, assist with and provide cover for other service lines such as conference support, reception duties, access control and gymnasium office support amongst others.
- Provide on the job training to new staff as required.
- Carry out other reasonable requests as may be required from time to time.
Applicant Requirements:
Essential:
- GCSE (or equivalent) English & Maths.
- ECDL or similar qualification.
- General office working knowledge.
- Customer service orientated.
- Working knowledge of MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, project).
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, pay attention to detail and work proactively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage demanding clients and customers.
- Ability to act in a professional manner and with absolute discretion.
- Team player and able to work on own initiative.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Flexible approach to work.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of MoD Registry.
- Experience of working within the facilities management sector.
- MS Office Database.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and to agreed deadlines.

Health & Safety:
The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and amendments state it is the responsibility of all employees to comply with Health and Safety Law. The post holder will be required to attend all statutory Health and Safety training.
The post holder is required to comply with the Company’s Health & Safety strategy, policy and procedure to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff members, visitors, patients, contractors and others. The post holder must comply with the designated levels of responsibility as detailed within the Health and Safety Plan.
No Smoking:
There is a policy of No Smoking in all Interserve premises. Smoking is only permissible in certain designated areas.

You may be required to work at other Interserve locations from time to time. Reasonable notice of any such changes will be provided.
